Sally Symes worked for many years as a designer of children’s books before turning her skills to writing them. She has a particular passion for rhyme and for quality novelty formats. She lives in West Sussex with a tree-surgeon husband, two children, and an anti-social cat.

Nick Sharratt is a British author and illustrator who has illustrated for authors like Jacqueline Wilson, Jeremy Strong, Julia Donaldson and Michael Rosen, as well as his own books. He lives in Brighton and has illustrated around 300 books, from board books for babies to novels for young readers.
